What Life is like as a Trainee?
What is it really like to be a trainee of peace mass Transit Tech?
Being a techie, makes one determined to learn more. I took interest in being a Security Analyst after my graduation from the university. Learned about the various vulnerabilities methods and challenges faced by Companies and individuals. I could say it was an interesting journey so far. In January 2021, I got an advertisement about trainee recruitment at PMT Tech. I took interest in it and applied. Interview was fixed for the recruitment exercise which includes Oral and Written sections. A feeling that was reinforced during the interview process made PMT Tech a clear choice for me. Being accepted by PMT Tech was a feeling that my choice was right fit for me. The training kicked-off on the first day of February, 2021. We were about 18 on that resumption day but currently 21 as some have fully started. We started with learning how to use an already existing ERP(Enterprise Resource Program) of Peace Mass Transit(PMT) developed by the PMT Tech team for the company. The learning of the ERP was interactive as we were guided and taught with real live examples. We were trained within the roles of our specialty. Am prepared for getting into the real work when my attention is needed. Here at PMT Tech the learning environment is comfortable, and being able to learn in a conducive environment is essential in training and career pursing.
WHY SOFTWARE ENGINEERING TRAINEE
A university education only touches upon important basic subject area within IT and it is now time for one to become a trainee in order to deepen their knowledge and link it to working life experience. As a software engineering trainee, one must understand that it is a tasking career and must understand that it is in this process one has to learn the most important thing about the building block of Software development under the guidance of a professional tutor.
Journey so far...
It is really an appreciated opportunity to be able to become a trainee here at PMT Tech as some languages will be learnt over the period as a trainee which includes; React js, Angular Js, Typescript and Vue with some framework like Mongo . To put my feelings into words, Here at PMT Tech is like a family with vast knowledge and experiences and there is room for personal growth and career development. My 31st day of 516days of code as a software engineer trainee has been amazing. My colleagues are one of the best I have associated with, the interaction among us made us develop bonds and have a good relationship till date.
